![]() I am SO glad we chose La Zebra and even happier we splurged for the penthouse suite with plunge pool (rm 34). I was overwhelmed planning as there does seem to be so many great hotels in Tulum. Just came back from me four night getaway staying at this resort to celebrate our 18 yr wedding anniversary. It is very welcoming for all sorts of people without being too “Cancún like” I would recommend La Zebra to everyone!! A fantastic boutique hotel!!! More Show less My husband and I came to celebrate our wedding anniversary and would definetly return with our children. My only Complaint was the seaweed was a big problem On the beach, but out of their control the time of year that we visited. It is very reasonably priced for how luxorious the hotel is. We went to many restaurants in Tulum and La Zebra is definetly at the top of my list! Everything was so fresh and flavorful!! The drinks were delicious and made with fresh ground sugar cane and fruit. The beds are comfortable and they serve coffee in bed every morning as well as tea at night. They are rather small and the breeze is so nice that you don’t even need to cool off and if you want to the pool at the hotel is very nice. We did not get a plunge pool and I am happy that we didn’t. Carlos, the manager was so informative and warm. The staff at the restaurant is so unbelievably friendly !! The front desk woman were not as warm, but perhaps shy. It is rustic but very upscale at the same time. I have traveled to many Mexico and Caribbean locations, even to Bora Bora and I think La Zebra has been my favorite hotel. ![]() ![]()
